You will find Yoga Mamas Antenatal Hatha Yoga, Breathing and Relaxation classes in The Loft at Little Dippers, Upper Gardner Street, Brighton, BN1. A wonderful room, with wood floors and plenty of space!

Antenatal Pregnancy Yoga (Advisable from 16 weeks)

Tuesdays: 5.45pm-7.15pm

Tuesdays: 7.30pm-9.00pm

Sundays: 10.15am-11.45am

Thursdays: 5.30pm-7.00pm (outdoor summer special @ St Ann's Well Gardens, in the Sensory Area - very secluded, quiet and perfect for sunny evenings. Bring a blanket with you.)

 

Mamas & Babas Yoga (Advisable from 6 weeks after birth)

Coming soon... Starting from Wednesday 29th July 11.30am-12.45pm @ Anahata Health Centre on Edwards Street. Call or email for more info or to book your spot.

 

We've classes in the daytimes, evenings and weekends and offer a Preparing For Birth Yoga Workshop every 10 weeks. So hopefully something for everyone - and are slowly adding more. Please get in touch to book or if you have any questions.

 

Why do Antenatal Pregnancy Yoga?

  • Improve your posture, boost energy and release stress during your pregnancy.
  • Become physically, mentally and emotionally prepared for pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood beyond.
  • Practice birth breathing techniques to aid delivery.
  • Classes includes a variety of asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and yoga nidra (deep relaxation).
  • Meet other lovely Mama's-to-be in an easy going environment.

Yoga Mamas - "Yoga, Breathing & Relaxation for Pregnancy & Birth" CD - £10

Practise essential yogic breathing throughout your pregnancy to relax you and increase your sense of awareness. Then while birthing your baby the breathing that you have practised will occur more naturally helping you stay calm, focused and in your birthing zone. This, I believe, is key to reducing and on some occassions even illiminating, pain and stress during birth.

How much?

 

  • Drop in - £8
  • 6 week package - £45 (approx £7.50/class, to be used over 8 weeks)
  • One-to-ones - available for antenatal yoga, postnatal yoga and hatha for everybody (women, men) interested deepening their practice and understanding of yoga and movement - £25/1 hour, £35/1.5 hours, £45/2 hours
